The Kilimanjaro Safaris ride at Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom was probably the single-most waited for ride prior to our first visit to WDW a few weeks ago. While watching (and re-watching) the many Travel Channel shows about Walt Disney World, it was this ride that always intrigued me the most; wild animals from Africa’s savanah roaming free with a new experience every time.

We arrived to Animal Kingdom right at park opening and followed the mass of people towards the back of the park into Africa. It was easy to tell that this ride is scheduled as most everyones first of the day. Although we had no wait time in the queue, as we walked through it I could see some similarity in the appearance between it and the queue for Disneyland’s Indiana Jones ride.
